Seasonal Blogging

Having trouble brainstorming topics for your business blog?  Consider scheduling topic ideas based on seasonality. For example, try writing about allergies or spring cleaning this month.

If you're struggling to associate topics with the time of year, take a look at what major stores are doing.  They often follow an editorial calender of marketing that can easily be adapted to blog post ideas.  (It's not cheating, it's just taking inspiration!)

Spend an hour or so writing down a few blog ideas for each month of the year.  When you're stuck, you can go back to that list to pull ideas from.

  • Remember, readers love bullet points and lists, so when in doubt, write a simple list.
